Custom Gages & Fixtures

With more than 40 machines in a temperature-controlled facility, Allis Tool & Machine provides custom machining services for prototyping and small volume production of components. We can machine a variety of parts, weighing from a fraction of an ounce to 26,000 lbs. Our CAD/CAM controlled CNC milling (both vertical and horizontal), turning, boring, and grinding machines deliver complete precision mchining services to suit diverse customer requirements.

Journeymen machinists and toolmakers at our shop work together to machine quality prototypes for OEM manufacturers. Armed with the knowledge gaqined while designing and building prototypes, we also accurately design and manufacture fixtures required for production machining.

An example of gauges we built was a gauge to measure the inner diameter of a composite sleeve. Precise measurement of the component is a necessary step before carrying out any further operations on the sleeve. Our shop was able to deliver a lightweight and easy to use gauge, which was able to fit around the mandrel's central shaft.

All custom tooling and fixtures designed and built by us are inspected with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure compliance with client specifications.
